Fly
The world’s busiest airport – Dubai International Airport – is just a 45-minute drive. Other airports that connect easily to Ras Al Khaimah are:

  • RAK Airport – 25 minutes from the city centre
  • Sharjah Airport – 35 minutes
  • Abu Dhabi Airport – 2 hours

Drive
Take Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and follow signs north towards Sharjah. Continue past Sharjah and follow signs to Ras Al Khaimah.

Alternatively, take Emirates Road (E611) north and follow signs to Ras Al Khaimah.

It’s only 45 minutes from Dubai Airport, or 1 hour from the Burj Khalifa!

Public Transport

Visitors can hire one of the RTA (Dubai’s Road & Transport Authority) taxis at the taxi stand directly outside the airport. They are cream with coloured roofs (normally red, blue, yellow, green roofs) and are all clean and metered so there is no need to haggle a price for the journey.

Private taxis are also available from the airport.
