Visa

Topic Progress:

A national citizen of a GCC country does not require a visa to visit the UAE.

Citizens of the following countries can obtain a visit visa on arrival, and will be granted entry free of charge by proceeding to Immigration, where their passports will be stamped.

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City

Visitors who are NOT a citizen of one of the above countries require a visa and a sponsor for their visit. Hotels and tourist companies can apply, on their customer’s behalf, for a Tourist Visa (valid for 30 days); a Service Visa (valid for 14 days); or a Visit Visa (valid for 30 days, with the option to extend for a further 30 days).

Individuals (relatives or friends) already resident in the UAE may, subject to guidelines, also apply for a Visit Visa on behalf of the visitor.

Indian nationals with a valid UK or US visa will be granted a 14-day visa on arrival for a fee.
