Due to its desert climate, Ras Al Khaimah is hot in the summer and mild in winter, but with a lot of rain compared to other emirates.
Temperatures are also cooler, even in summer, due to the breeze coming from the sea and the altitude of the mountains. In the mountains, it can be up to 10 degrees cooler than the coast.
The average temperature in January (winter) is 18°C to 25°C (64°F to 77°F). There’s even a decent chance of snowfall in the mountain region during the winter months.
Temperatures often reach 45°C in summer, with a July average of 29°C to 45°C (84°F to 109°F). The humidity is also usually high in the summer months.
